No, Im not. I just wonder if the insurance and all comes into affect. If someone falls in the stands and breaks a leg and sues KMETS, how would that work out. Just legally Im amazed it happens, in reality who wouldnt want to play there, in this world and times, Im amazed it allowed to happen.

I loved playing at HW it was a great field and i'll tell you that everyone i played with loved going over there it's a great field and atmosphere

Graham plays all of their "home" football games in WV...out of state...not a violation of VHSL rules.
As a matter of fact, Graham hosted the AA State Championship game in '89 and it was played out of state, in WV...the only VA State Championship not decided within the boundary of the state...

And I had the honor of making the trip up to see you guys whoop up on Southampton. The G-Men had one of the singiest D's that year I have seen. Your line was huge and I was wondering for a while if Southampton was even going to get a 1st down much less cross mid-field! And without your star back who I believe had broken his ankle! Actually you could have parked on the far end of the parking lot on the VA side of the line and saved yourself some gas money!

Noticed in recent posts that the "GC attitude" seems to bother you and there are times it bothers me, but so does the attitue of posters from other schools, including you. In my opinion, you are probably close to 30 years old and most of the posters that bother you and me are probably in their teens and I think that there has to be a certain amount of tolerance.
Another thing and not directed at you, is the attitude by some that seem to be glad to see GC leave the LPD. I guess when all 500 of us are watching a basketball or football game we, or at least the LPD schools, are going to miss the gate and consessions from all those "bad attitude" fans from GC.
I'll stand up for Indian_dad here. He's been very complimentary to Gate City and their players over time. I think its the large contigent of posters who have showed up lately, and a few of the bad eggs (that everybody has) that has had him speak out a bit.
It's not the logical fans, its those that if you don't say that Gate City is the best at something, shoot anything, they go off on you and act like you don't know what you're talking about.
You can't expect people from other schools or communities to worship Gate City or drink the koolaid that the ones from there do. I'm sorry, I may support Clintwood every single day of my life, but I don't go crazy when someone doesn't think that our french fries aren't the best, etc. etc.
I fully hate to lose some of the good people from Gate City, I do respect the effort and energy that their players bring, and you can't help but admire the success they have (even if you wish they didn't...and anybody from another school who doesn't is crazy), but some seem to think that Gate City is the only place that their 'crap' don't stink, and thats ridiculous.
I agree rock. I am jusy saying there seem to be a lot of crap being posted from several new posters and as long as anyone can post the more responsible posters should probably just overlook them and not get drawn in.
